The Elmhurst Public Library is pleased to offer two collections of audiobooks and ebooks that can be accessed from the comfort of your home or office 24/7. We have thousands of titles to choose from including fiction, non-fiction, kids’ books, and classics. These books can be downloaded to your computer, MP3 player or PDA device. All books are automatically returned so you incur no late fees!

We currently have access to two separate catalogs for these digital materials. Please read about each catalog below and consider going through the product tutorials before getting started.

Note that you must have an Elmhurst Public Library card to use either service. If you have any questions, please call the Information Desk at 630-279-8696 or refer to each service's Help page.

• Audiobooks, eBooks, and videos are available
• Audiobooks are available in MP3 and WMA formats
• eBooks are available in EPUB, PDF, and mobipocket formats
• Many audio titles can be burned to CD
• Special software, available through MyMediaMall's web site, is required before downloads are possible
• Checkout information:
  • Audiobooks = 2 weeks
  • eBooks = 3 weeks
  • Video = 1 week
  • 5 item checkout limit

• Media Center, a customizable desktop catalog, is available for download through NetLibrary’s website. Download is not required.
